Re-blog for a chance to win this set of lavender and mint dryer sachets! The winner will be chosen at noon (west coast time) on Friday the 25th!!

About the sachets:  Each eco-friendly dryer sachet is made from 100% repurposed fabric. In a former life your sachet was a window drape, tea towel, or bedspread in some sassy old lady’s house! They’re filled with all natural ingredients, including peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary, locally grown lavender buds, and spearmint. Each sachet was completely HAND-SEWN and never went near a sewing machine. They are double stitched for durability.

Just pop all 3 in the dryer with your laundry and VOILA! Fresh and clean smelling without all the environmental unfriendliness of store-bought dryer sheets. Can be used about a dozen times each, and work great as drawer/purse/room sachets once they’ve completed their laundry use…

These each measure 3.5 x 3.5 inches.
These were made in a smoke-free home! Pattern placement may vary slightly, but the 3 you receive will be the same fabric as in the main photo.

S: Belated Valentines

My home grown rose.

This was given to me today by T. Miles who picked me up for a kind of non-date lunch. I had the corn fritters and they were delish! It was the most glorious day, we ate and chat whilst sitting outside. I wore a new dress which made me feel special. losing this little bit of weight, and being home has made me feel more and more like myself. When I look in the mirror I see my face, before it was chubbier version - but not my own.

All in all, a great day x

This is Zach Wahls.

He has two moms.

And this was his speech before the Iowa State house this week as they deliberate on a vote to ban both marriage equality and civil unions.

My heart is exploding with pride over this kid.

Preach it, Zach. Preach it.
